By prioritizing the creator over profit, we strive to create a community that supports and uplifts the art world, offering a unique shopping experience where every purchase supports real artists.
The Founders
Ourt was founded by best friends and self-taught graphic designers, Paul Hannaway and Caoimhin Burns. As young students, Hannaway and Burns both faced the challenge of monetizing their art in a market that often undercuts the value of creators. Determined to build something better, they came up with the idea of Ourt—a brand that blends “Our” and “Art”—with the goal of offering a platform that provides fair compensation and recognition for artists, while maintaining top-tier quality for customers.
